Dolfin Swim School has been blessed over the years to have incredible, awesome, magnanimous Instructors. But it is not by chance. It has always started with patiently waiting each year for the Lord to bring just the right applicant. Each Instructor has to meet the stringent qualifications of character, honesty, impeccable work ethic, leadership and most importantly LOVE children of all ages.
Once accepted for employment, our Instructors not only go through a rigid training in the Dolfin way of at least 60 hours, but must prove themselves in the day-to-day teaching of our precious swimmers. Your swimmers are in excellent hands! We hire the Super Heroes your swimmers will admire and want to emulate!
Please allow us to introduce you to our DYNAMIC Dolfin staff:
I was a homegrown Dallas type. Graduated from SMU with an All- Level teaching certificate and a BA in physical education. Before starting Dolfin Swim School, I taught P.E. at Grace Academy, Jackie Sorenson's Aerobic Dancing for 11 years, Jazzercise for 3.5 years, and even had a small stint working at a wholesale jewelers. But swimming was always my passion. So I made what I LOVED into what I do. I have now had 40 years of teaching swimming, swam on a Masters team for 25 years, and coached our championship Dallas Dolfins swim team for 10 years. Every day is a blessing because I get to sing, laugh, and teach the most incredible kids on the planet!!

upon graduation. This past summer he was married to his wife Brittany who
also graduated from the University of Georgia. She currently teaches

every sport at one point, including swimming. When not in class or working,
he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
Devin graduated from Hebron High School in 2010 where she swam varsity all
four years. Her favorite event was the 500 freestyle. Currently, she
attends North Lake College in Irving but she plans to transfer to Stephen F.
Austin later to major in sign language. In her spare time, Devin loves to
play with her 2 dogs- Millie, a Brittany spaniel, and Thelma Lu, a

hanging out with friends and her boyfriend. Devin says she feels very
blessed to be able to help little kids learn how to swim because it makes
her smile. And she is amazed at how fast they learn. Devin's motto: " Just
try your best. You can do anything if you just BELIEVE!!" -Philippians 4:13
Stacy is a new fish in Dallas. Originally from Pennsylvania, she graduated from Arcadia University, where she received her BFA in Ceramics and training as an art teacher in 2005. After that, she traveled the world extensively, following her passions for teaching others. If you ask her, she'll tell you she lived in Scotland and Asia and traveled to 11 other countries. Her biggest passion has always been for swimming. After learning to swim at the wee age of five, she worked her way up and swam through 8 years of high school and college swim team. As soon as she turned 16, she began teaching children and adults how to swim. In between her travels, Stacy always found herself going back to teaching swimming lessons. No matter where her travels take her, she still finds time to get in the water and splash about.

Recently, Kendra has made the move from school teacher to student with the goal of becoming a counselor for children and teenagers. When she is not in class or studying at DTS, she is hanging out with friends, playing sports, and reading.
